BIOROCK sewage treatment plants
BIOROCK non-electric treatment systems
Eco-friendly, quiet running wastewater treatment for domestic properties that are not connected to mains drainage.
Green Septic Solutions supplies and installs BIOROCK systems across East Sussex, West Sussex and nearby parts of Kent. We can assess the property, explain the options and coordinate the complete installation.
The domestic BIOROCK range
Different systems for different properties
We can assess whether an all-in-one system or a separate treatment unit is the better fit for the household, site layout and existing drainage.

Extra-flat compact system
easyRock
An all-in-one compact filter for small and medium households. Its low-profile form can reduce the burial depth and the system can be arranged to suit different footprints.
- Models for four to eight people
- Pack or Line installation layout
- Low gravity outlet or optional pumped high outlet
- Adjustable risers and a groundwater anchoring option

Compact all-in-one system
Monoblock
The primary settlement compartment and BIOROCK treatment unit are combined in one tank, creating a compact arrangement for permanent homes and properties used intermittently.
- 2,000 or 3,000 litre primary compartment
- Models rated for up to six or eight people, subject to local requirements
- Suitable for main and secondary residences
- Optional integrated pump for a high discharge point

Separate treatment unit
ECOROCK
A flexible two-stage arrangement in which primary settlement takes place in a separate tank before wastewater passes through the BIOROCK treatment unit.
- Range for applications from six to 30 people
- Five treatment-unit sizes from 1,000 to 5,000 litres
- May suit a septic-tank upgrade where the existing tank is suitable
- Optional pumped high-outlet arrangement
What we consider before recommending a system
A product feature only has value when it works with the property, the ground and the intended discharge route.
Household loading
Permanent occupancy, bedrooms and likely wastewater volumes.
Site layout
Access, levels, available footprint and proximity to buildings or boundaries.
Ground conditions
Soil, groundwater, stability and the excavation needed for the selected system.
Discharge route
Whether treated water can leave by gravity or requires a pumped arrangement.

Common questions
Choosing a BIOROCK system
These answers are a starting point. A survey may be needed before a product or installation can be agreed.
Ask us about your propertyDoes every BIOROCK system work without electricity?
The core treatment process does not use an electric aeration blower. Some sites need a pumped high outlet or another electrical accessory, so the full arrangement should be checked before describing an installation as completely non-electric.
What is different about easyRock?
easyRock has an extra-flat profile intended to reduce excavation depth. It covers four to eight people and can be installed in a joined Pack layout or separated Line layout.
Can easyRock be installed where groundwater is present?
The manufacturer offers an anchoring system for groundwater conditions. Groundwater level, soil stability and excavation requirements must still be assessed for the individual site.
Can you supply the plant without installing it?
Yes. We can discuss product supply only, or provide a complete treatment plant installation including the survey, system selection, groundworks and reinstatement as one coordinated service.
Discuss a BIOROCK treatment plant
Tell us where the property is, how it is used and what system is currently in place. We can then suggest the most useful next step.
